Dinosaur and Fossil Workshops in School
Staffed by qualified teachers and real dinosaur experts all with DBS clearance, Everything Dinosaur offers a wide range of dinosaur themed teaching activities, fossil workshops, dinosaurs in school and out-reach visits in support of science teaching in the United Kingdom. Our dedicated and knowledgeable team members provide dinosaur themed teaching activities from Early Years Foundation and Reception through to Key Stage 4 and beyond. Whether it is a term topic, part of a science week or a special event, fossils and dinosaurs in school can help enthuse and motivate the next generation of scientists.
Our dinosaur and fossil workshops are all supported by individual, bespoke lesson plans built around national curriculum learning outcomes and objectives and we are happy to help out with extension ideas and activities, whether it’s creative writing, aiding literacy or in support of developing a better understanding of working scientifically. Our download sections provide a range of free, helpful early years resources, KS1 resources through to KS4 resources and to request further information about a visit to your school, after school club or museum, simply visit our Contact Us/Request a Quotation Page.
Supplying Teaching Resources
Everything Dinosaur’s hard-working teaching team supplies a wide range of fossils and other prehistoric animal themed teaching resources in support of teaching about rocks, fossils and dinosaurs in school. This website links to Everything Dinosaur’s on line shop as well as giving further information and providing access to a wealth of material to help teachers, learning support staff, museum event organisers and home educators when it comes to teaching about Earth sciences, evolution and the long history of our planet and the ancient animals that once inhabited it.
Our fossil and dinosaur workshop costs are made up of a subsidised amount for the teacher/palaeontologist’s time, plus travelling expenses and a small charge to cover the packing of fossils and any materials used in experiments that we conduct.
